Engaging with the land promotes a holistic pathway to healing and coping, one that encompasses mind, body, and spirit. Thumos Project provides veterans and military family members with small-group experiential workshops (offered monthly) to teach basic farming and sustainable development concepts.

Working together on Thumos land in Castle Hayne, NC, participants develop a skillset that is applicable not only to raising crops and livestock; through multi-generational mentoring, agri-therapy inspires individual growth while strengthening relationships with family, friends, and community members.
